小米之家香港旺角创兴广场店经全新升级后,于2023年9月30日在中国香港正式重新营业,这也是全球首家运用小米之家2023版SI全新形象的终端门店。
作为小米之家全新SI形象的操刀设计团队,瑞升以小米丰富的产品生态链为依托,在充分理解小米“生态闭环”的逻辑之上,展开小米之家全新SI形象的一次“进化版”升级探索。在延续小米“智能科技,极简设计”主旨概念的基础上,设计团队创新性提出“VI PI SI 三频共振”的设计思路,从视觉和功能的双维度,为小米之家全新终端赋予更强的视觉印象和逛店感官体验。
我们在充分理解和研究小米新版LOGO设计后,将LOGO造型最为核心的“超椭圆”作为整个空间的视觉中心的核心元素,并在新的工艺加持下,将圆角、圆弧造型贯穿于门头、展台及特殊“模特位”。在材质情绪的表达上,储物仓的磨砂亚克力,金属肌理感的防火板及靠墙柜绒面布料的加入,打破了科技属性空间金属感的单一,为小米之家引入更具“生活感”的材质属性来凸显小米科技产品生态组合;不同材质状态的组合运用营造出多元丰富的空间体验情绪。
After a new upgrade, Xiaomi Home’s Hong Kong Mong Kok Chong Hing Plaza store officially reopened in Hong Kong, China on September 30, 2023. This is also the world’s first terminal store to use the new image of Xiaomi Home’s 2023 version of SI.
As the design team responsible for the new SI image of Xiaomi Home, Ruisheng relied on Xiaomi’s rich product ecological chain and fully understood the logic of Xiaomi’s “ecological closed loop” to launch an “evolved version of the new SI image of Xiaomi Home”. “Upgrade Exploration. On the basis of continuing Xiaomi’s main concept of “intelligent technology, minimalist design”, the design team innovatively proposed the design idea of “VI PI SI three-frequency resonance” to give Xiaomi Mi Home’s new terminals more functionality from both visual and functional dimensions. Strong visual impression and sensory experience of visiting the store.
After fully understanding and studying the design of Xiaomi’s new LOGO, we used the “super ellipse” that is the core of the LOGO shape as the core element of the visual center of the entire space. With the blessing of new technology, we integrated rounded corners and arc shapes throughout the door. Head, booth and special “model position”. In terms of the expression of material emotions, the frosted acrylic of the storage bin, the metal-textured fireproof board and the suede fabric of the wall cabinet break the single metallic feel of the technological attribute space and introduce a more “life-like feel” to Xiaomi Home. “material attributes to highlight the ecological portfolio of Xiaomi technology products; the combination of different material states creates a diverse and rich space experience emotion.

INSPIRING WITH DESIGN
小米有着稳定的商业逻辑和丰富的产品生态链,通过“设计”可以帮小米提升的是“感官印象”与“逛店体验”两个维度 —— 前者在于视觉,后者在于功能。生态-互联-家居 :SI的功能进化。视觉背后更重要的是:设计团队基于小米庞大而丰富的产品生态链,梳理了不同产品系列的沟通逻辑。沿着单品-生态-互联-家居场景的产品沟通层次,基于模块化的展陈组合和生活场景关联,为小米之家做了更具家居生活感的多样产品展陈方式。通过多元模块的组合运用和家居感的展陈方式,来达成小米生态更清晰的产品落位逻辑、沟通逻辑和更生动的氛围情绪。
视觉维度的超椭圆元素与材质色彩情绪的提升,以及功能维度的产品生态组合创新方式,都指向一个更趋“家居生活感”的空间呈现。我们试图在性能与科技属性之外,为小米之家共创一个更具温暖、自然、生活感的空间表情,通过设计达成小米生态闭环在线下终端的表达。所有这些尝试,我们更愿意称之为一次从VI、PI到SI的“进化”探索。
Xiaomi has a stable business logic and a rich product ecological chain. What can help Xiaomi improve through “design” are the two dimensions of “sensory impression” and “store experience” – the former lies in vision, and the latter lies in function. Ecology-Internet-Home: The functional evolution of SI. What’s more important behind the vision is that the design team sorted out the communication logic of different product series based on Xiaomi’s large and rich product ecological chain. Along the product communication level of single product – ecology – interconnection – home scene, based on the modular display combination and the association of life scenes, Xiaomi Home has developed a variety of product display methods that have a more sense of home life. Through the combined use of multiple modules and the home-like display method, Xiaomi Ecosystem achieves clearer product placement logic, communication logic and a more vivid atmosphere and mood.
The super-elliptical elements in the visual dimension and the improvement of material color mood, as well as the innovative way of product ecological combination in the functional dimension, all point to a more “home life” space presentation. In addition to performance and technological attributes, we try to create a more warm, natural and life-like spatial expression for Xiaomi Home, and achieve the expression of Xiaomi’s ecological closed-loop offline terminals through design. All these attempts, we prefer to call it an “evolutionary” exploration from VI, PI to SI.
